| Description: |
Four dogs wait anxiously for Chuck, their master, to come home. But he has deserted them, escaping an underwater mortgage. They are visited by a host of people; the next-door neighbor, Chuck's best friend, the mail person, police. It becomes clear that the dogs are completely in the power of humans. In true existential form nothing much happens and the dogs continue to languish, waiting for their master who never returns. As is true in hell, they face the possibility of burning up. This is an obvious spoof of Sartre’s “No Exit”. |
